Recently Criccieth has hosted Foodslam organised by Dylan’s restaurant. The event brought in many local food and suppliers who laid on pop-up dining experiences along the Criccieth Esplanade. Foodslam was a huge success and the reviews have been so positive. If you get the chance try to visit Foodslam which marks the beginning of the Criccieth Food Festival in June each year – it’s a foodie’s paradise!
Check out the local fishermen bringing in their lobster and crab haul’s from the promenade and you may even catch a glimpse of Criccieth’s resident Bottle Nose Dolphins. Mackerel often storm up to the beach chasing the whitebait in July and August so you can also easily catch your lunch by casting in a line!
